Week 13 Story... Heart of Gold

In the small town of Rahda there lived an old man who roamed the streets without no where to live. he hunched over his wooden cane and with much struggle took light steps as he headed in his direction. His dog always followed along. The man never begged for food or money but the townspeople knew that he had no food or shelter so they would often feed him. Every morning he would walk to the schoolhouse and wave to all the kids as his dog sat next to him. He would then walk around town picking up any trash that littered the streets.  Old man walking down the street. I have always done as I was told and always avoided conflicts with others. My mother always told me "honesty is the best policy" and those words constantly run through my mind. He wanted to offer her his kingdom where they could be together for years on end. He traveled on many conquests and though obstacles did arise, he always overcame them. He wanted nothing more than to spend his life with someone by his side. He wanted children who he could raise and teach the wonders of life. Satyavati did not want to marry the king. She had a plan for her life. She wanted to enjoy all the beautiful things that life had to offer and she felt that by marrying him she would be deprived of that. Being the second born of the Pandava's, Bhima had a story of his own that he seldom told.  Bhima [ Source ] When Bhima was young, a man appeared in his dream revealing to him a secret that no other man on earth would ever know. He bestow up Bhima the gift of knowing events before they occurred. This was confusing to Bhima and at such a young age he did not know what to make of this. As he got older, he realized that he had thoughts of events and they later would happen. Like the secret he was told, Bhima was not to ever let anyone know of this gift he had been granted.
