 The King and the Stick-Gatherer:
The king brings the boy and tells him no one but him will nurture him. Many were there to receive the Bodhisatta.

 The Cold Half of the Month: 
The tiger and the lion were arguing about which half of the month was cold. The Bodhisatta tells them that they are both right. He was able to settle their dispute.

My name is Catalina Cardenas. I am a Senior at the University of Oklahoma. My major is Health & Exercise Science along with pre-nursing. I am also in the National Guard so I have been looking into the PA program offered through the military. I spent nine months on deployment in Kuwait and it was definitely an experience. That slightly set me back in school so I am slowly started to catch up. Week 9 Story: King Shantanu and Present Day

The Mahabharata: Karmic Revolution Epified TV (India) 2015-2016   King Shantanu lived day and night awaiting the day that he would get to marry Satyavati. He wanted to offer her his kingdom where they could be together for years on end. He traveled on many conquests and though obstacles did arise, he always overcame them. He wanted nothing more than to spend his life with someone by his side. He wanted children who he could raise and teach the wonders of life. Satyavati did not want to marry the king.
