Tech Tip...Canvas Profile

For this tech tip I went and added a profile picture as well as a biography. I think it is very important to have pictures on there to be able to contact people in classes and remembering names can be hard sometimes. I also added a short bio so others can see if they are interested in knowing something about me.

I have never thought about this theory being actually explored but after watching the videos I am intrigued by the whole idea. In a way it is somewhat like the saying "seeing the glass as half full versus half empty". This is very important because a lot of the times people do experience failure and it pushes them to give up on trying. By being able to accept the minor set back and move forward we are capable of so much more. Many times we do get wrapped up in a midget where we only have one shot at things and it becomes almost impossible to thrive. This is crucial in learning, especially for children who are trying their hardest but occasionally do face obstacles. I have been very fortunate to grow up with parents who raised me in an environment where not being there "yet" is acceptable. They have always taught me that I can always do better even if I am not there yet. Even now being in college this is still their mindset and it has helped me with the way I address...

Learning Challenge... My Happiness Board Outcome

Last week I decided to write a motive thing about my day every day for a week. I am happy to say that I was able to do that. Every day I wrote something on my dry erase board. I added a new thing each day so I was able to reflect on something positive for that day as well for the past days. It did make me feel better because I have been having a tough few weeks and that was definitely a highlight. I will continue to do it daily. Positivity. [ source ]

Title :  Eastern Stories and Legends Author : Marie Shedlock The horse that held out to the end: Even though the horse  was  injured he continued to fight. The seven kings were set free and as they took off his mail he passed away and  was  buried in honor.  The mallard that asked for too  much: The mallard came back and told his wife and children who he was and that they could pluck one feather each time. The wife thought that one day he would leave and not come back so she decided to rip all the feathers at once. Since this was against his wish, all the feathers turned into regular feathers instead of gold.  The faithful friend: The dog is sold to someone else and the elephant is sad. He refuses to eat and the king wants to know why. When he is told that it is because the dog is gone, he sets everyone out to find the dog.
