Time Strategies
I am usually that person that takes on a lot of the time so time management is crucial to me. Overall, this semester is a busy one so I am working to create a schedule that I can work with so that I can succeed. I read the article about setting small goals and I think that that is something that I am working on this semester. Previously, I have always thought long term and that can be slightly hard to fulfill when life happens and so many other responsibilities come up. This summer a lot piled up so I had to set up a schedule which I am currently trying to implement.
For this course I was able to spread the time out based on my class schedule. The days that I only have one class on campus which are Monday and Wednesday, I am able to put forth more time for assignments. Tuesdays and Thursdays are busier so I set aside a shorter amount of time because that is what I can be realistic about. I also love to say "I am too busy" but after reading the article, I realized that I just need to prioritize and things will become easier. This class makes it so easy to be successful but at the same time I realize it is up to me to fulfill my time commitments.

Hi Catalina!
ReplyDeleteI think we read the same article, and I'm with you 100%- it's so easy to default to saying "I'm busy" when time management can be particularly demanding. I love the graphic you chose- it definitely resonated with me. It's awesome that you're implementing a plan you've been working on since the summer- best of luck with the semester and everything you have going on!
